#mangermoments with @farmhouse_schoolhouse

"...this boy is sitting at the table making a list of 25 acts of kindness and sharing for our advent this year. He read through @thegivingmanger and ran to get his notebook so he could brainstorm. Oh the excitement! He is so determined to do it all in secret. He's a Christmas Ninja! He wants to send Christmas cards to Standing Rock and to the local Veterans hospital. Another idea? Invite someone lonely to dinner and help two people remember how much they love each other (😩) Make pinecone bird feeders and leave them at the park, leave kind notes for the neighbor, bake cookies for the pediatricians office, knit hats for the kids in our local PICU. Here is the one that knocked me over "Show kindness to my brothers even when they are having a mean moment." I'm recording all our #mangermoments in my journal to look back on for years to come. We both agreed that this is way more fun than writing a list of things we "want" for Christmas."
