"We brought down our @thegivingmanger after F's birthday. Instant results! The children are so keen to do good deeds and be kind so they can put some straw in the manger, so that by Christmas Eve there is a nicely padded bed for the baby Jesus. A welcome change from the constant bickering we've had recently, and a helpful reminder that Christmas isn't just about presents. I should have put it up much sooner! (or maybe we can leave it out all year?
