Each receipt we received brought tears to our eyes. We truly can't thank you enough! We are completely overwhelmed by the generosity from you all yesterday. You've proven again that there is so much goodness in the world.
This situation hit really close to home as Lisa is in Austin, just a few short hours away. We have had countless friends and neighbors take their own boats down to Houston to rescue families who are stranded. These friends have told us stories of rescuing families with kids as young as 3 weeks old, with just the clothes on their backs.
At such a trying time we feel so fortunate to have such an amazing group of families coming together with us to make a difference! We are forever grateful.
We are finalizing all the numbers this morning and Lisa will be delivering all the matched donations directly to The Texas Diaper Bank.
