The Day I Believed I was Failing
“It was the day I believed I was failing as a mother. Trying to run a business while my babies were growing up faster than weeds and I felt like I was missing it. I was sitting in the corner crying, holding my baby when my doorbell rang. I didn’t want to answer, but sure enough my kids did. And there she was. My friend with a bag of See’s Chocolate. She laughed with me when I told her what I was just doing. She offered encouraging words, she hugged me, and left. I ate that chocolate, looked at my kids and felt like I could keep trying my best and rely on God to make up the rest. Don’t forget that something as simple as dropping off some candy could be the encouragement someone needs.”-Allison, The Giving Manger Co-Founder
