Tonight as I read the story to my children, I was bursting with gratitude - for all of you.

I always dreamed of writing a children's book, but man is it scary putting yourself and something you love out there. And I'm not good at being venerable. So when you reach out to say that the book brought tears to your eyes or touched your heart, please know how deeply it touches mine.
